Founder, President, CEO & Director
Good morning, and thank you for joining us. I’m Luis Pena, the President and CEO of Evommune. Yesterday, we announced our agreement with Hinova for global development rights, excluding Greater China to EVO570, an oral VAV1 molecular glue degrader. Over the next few minutes, we’ll explain why we did this deal, what the science shows and how EVO570 fits into the rest of our portfolio. I’m joined today by Greg Moss, our Chief Business and Legal Officer, who will cover the deal terms and the competitive landscape. Jeegar Patel, our Chief Scientific Officer, who will take you to the VAV1 biology and the 570 data and Mark Jackson, our SVP of Clinical Development, who will walk you through the development plan.
Before we begin, a reminder that today’s presentation contains forward-looking statements. including statements about the potential benefits of our product candidates, the timing of our clinical trial and data and our cash runway. These statements are subject to risks and uncertainties, and actual results may differ materially. Please refer to the disclaimer on this slide and to the risk factors in our SEC filings. This webcast is prerecorded, so we won’t be taking live questions. Please send any questions to our Investor Relations team, and we’ll be glad to follow up.
Let me start with why we’re excited about EVO570 and why now? EVO570 is an oral molecular glue degrader of VAV1, a protein found almost exclusively in immune cells
