The Reason Zayn Malik & Louis Tomlinson Fought On Docuseries Set? Pillowtalk Singer Made Comment About Bandmate’s Late Mom: REPORT

Is this the reason why Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson fought on the set of their Netflix docuseries?

Perezcious readers may recall that the two former One Direction members began filming a documentary together in October 2025, one year after their bandmate Liam Payne died. Zayn and Louis decided to settle their beef and reunite for the project in honor of their late pal. However, production turned into a disaster because they allegedly got into a brawl! A report from Star Magazine claimed in December that the pair “got into a majorly heated argument that ended up turning physical” while at a bar, and “Louis ended up with a concussion.”

Neither Zayn nor Louis addressed the rumors. The insider also had no details on what even started the altercation at the time. However, we are finally getting more tea on what went down that day — and it is not good! We hate to say it, Directioners, but their friendship could be over for good if the latest report is true!

According to The Sun on Friday, the fight allegedly began because Zayn made a negative comment about Louis’ mom, Johannah Deakin, who died of leukaemia in 2016! OMG! Sources claimed:

“It spiralled into a row then Zayn made a remark about Louis’ mum Johannah. Louis was stunned and in shock. As he went to move, Zayn then attacked him. Zayn punched him straight in the face. Because he was wearing rings it cut Louis’ head. He was pulled away and Louis was taken for medical treatment. He was left with a concussion. This happened outside in front of so many people. It was shocking.”

Her death, as fans know, is already a touchy subject between Louis and Zayn. The Back to You singer previously revealed his friendship with Gigi Hadid‘s baby daddy soured in 2016 after Zayn showed zero support for Lou when he performed a tribute to his late mother on X-Factor. The duo kept their distance from each other until recently. Liam’s death brought them back together, but they are no longer talking now! Whatever Zayn said must have been that bad!

The Sun insiders say Louis and Zayn haven’t spoken to each other since the altercation six months ago. And with no hope of them reconciling in sight, Netflix reportedly decided to cancel the docuseries last month. What a shame.

It is unknown whether they really got into a fight because Zayn made remarks about Louis’ mom. Again, the band members have not publicly addressed the reports. However, Louis seemed to confirm the feud by unfollowing Zayn on Instagram! Yes, really! He follows Liam, Harry Styles, and Niall Horan, but not Zayn anymore!
