Online sellers are racing to sell first Trump-Vance 2024 signs
Is true capitalism at work in America? All signs point to yes.
While more people may turn to social media to express their political views in this age, signaling political beliefs through posters, signs, and flags is still commonplace in suburbs all across America. Some even argue that symbolic ‘signage’ became more popular after the 2016 election.
With former President Donald Trump officially accepting the party’s nomination at the Republican National Convention (RNC) this past Thursday night, July 18, in Milwaukee, Wis., election season is officially in full force, and supporters are putting in their orders.

New signs are coming. Neighborhoods across the country can expect to see them popping up in front yards, proudly printed in big, bold letters with the names of their candidate-of-choices in red, white, and blue.
Savvy small businesses aren’t wasting a second, either, now that the race is underway. Trump merchandise was already surging to best-selling status in the hours after the former President survived the assassination attempt that took place at a packed campaign rally in Butler, Pa., on Saturday, July 13.
As of the time of publication, the “You Missed” T-shirt on Amazon sold by the brand of the same name was the No. 2 bestseller in the “Men’s Novelty T-Shirts” category. It sits just behind a short-sleeve tee showcasing branded as a “Trump 2024 Vintage T-Shirt,” bandishing only the numbers “45” and “47.”
Now, all focus has turned to the signs. Independent online retailers raced to print the first “Trump-Vance” signs just hours after Trump announced “Hillbilly Elegy” author J.D. Vance as his Vice Presidential pick.
A sign sold by a verified small business, the “Crazy Novelty Guy Store,” is currently ranked as the No. 1 best-seller in yard signs.
According to the listing, the double-sided, corrugated plastic yard stake is made in America and can be placed in a garden bed to meet HOA or POA regulations.
Over a thousand “Trump-Vance” signs from “Crazy Novelty Guy Store” have been purchased over the last three days, and the seller is already capitalizing on the rising demand.

Since the sign was released on Tuesday, the price has already been marked up 10% from $16.99 to $18.99.

The majority of merchandise offered by the “Crazy Novelty Guy Store” features pro-Trump and anti-Biden language, but the seller does offer a much more modest selection of “pro-Biden 2024” merchandise for those on the other side of the aisle.
The “Biden 2024” sign costs $14.99, which is 25% less than the newly released “Tump-Vance” sign.
Hundreds of other Biden-Harris signs are also available on Amazon. However, none of the ones appearing on the search results’ first page were marked as best-sellers.
While we won’t have the official election results until November, it seems clear we already have one winner: small businesses, which have already begun profiting from this election.
