EM Fund Stock Picks & Country Commentaries (May 10, 2026)

I have one more week left in Korea (leaving Busan tomorrow to go back to Seoul) and will probably skip this post for this coming weekend (Seoul’s Lotus Lantern Festival with a massive 3-kilometer evening lantern parade plus cultural performances is on Saturday-Sunday) so I can concentrate on clearing out my email inbox for this week’s Monday post (that’s already late…) and for next week’s Monday’s post. Then I can get caught up on updating fund updates and new research for our continuously updated posts containing all funds here and get back to other regular posts…

As far as tourism related activities, I think Korea is a bit of an unknown country for most people (at least beyond the DMZ, skiing for those living in Asia, K-Pop related stuff, etc). But there is so much to see in Korea (including a surprising amount of free museums and other attractions) and I wish I had visited here sooner as I think Japan/China really overshadow the country – at least for holiday purposes…
