Ivanka Trump shows daughter’s Taylor Swift birthday cake, Kim Kardashian reacts
Kim Kardashian’s friend Ivanka Trump is raising a Swiftie.
The former White House advisor posted an Instagram carousel Wednesday to celebrate her daughter Arabella’s 13th birthday, with the slideshow including multiple snaps of a Taylor Swift-inspired cake.
The dessert, which was frosted white with red “13” candles and revealed blood-like icing when cut open, read, “Boys only want love if its torture.”
The lyrics are from Swift’s “Blank Space.”
Trump, 42, called the heart-shaped dessert, which looked just like the one Swift stabs in the song’s 2014 music video, the “best cake for [her] favorite Swiftie.”
Kardashian reacted to the social media upload amid her years-long feud with the Grammy-winning pop star.
“Happy Birthday Arabella 🤍,” she wrote, also “liking” the slideshow.
Swifties trolled the “Kardashians” star in the comments by replying with references to “thanK you aIMee.”
Swift released the diss track in April as part of her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”
In addition to the title’s unique capitalization, the lyrics about a “bronze, spray-tanned” bully seemingly described Kardashian.
Swift sang, “My mother … used to say she wished that you were dead.”
Bible, Kim Kardashian fans can’t stop reading about…
Kardashian has yet to comment on the scathing song.
Her bad blood with Swift began in 2016 as she took her then-husband Kanye West’s side over his “Famous” lyrics scandal.
The Skims creator alleged to GQ that Swift gave her approval for West rapping that he “made that bitch famous,” claiming Swift “wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t” know.
After her fans bombarded Swift’s social media posts with snake emojis, the performer reclaimed serpent imagery for her “Reputation” album and tour.
“I can’t tell you how hard I had to keep from laughing every time my 63-foot inflatable cobra named Karyn appeared onstage in front of 60,000 screaming fans,” she told Elle in 2019. “It’s the Stadium Tour equivalent of responding to a troll’s hateful Instagram comment with ‘lol.’”
In her 2023 Time magazine Person of the Year profile, the American Music Award winner noted there was “no point in actively trying to quote unquote defeat [her] enemies” because “trash takes itself out every single time.”
Kardashian’s daughter North, notably, may be a Swiftie herself, as the mother-daughter pair posted a since-deleted TikTok to “Shake It Off” in January 2023.
Trump, who has been friends with Kardashian for years, celebrated her own Swiftie on Wednesday with a lengthy caption about how watching Arabella “grow into a teenager feels like a dream.”
She gushed over her eldest child’s “beautiful singing and piano playing … unforgettable horseback riding adventures, the strength and commitment [she] show[s] in your Brazilian jiu-jitsu practice and [their] special girls-only date nights.”
Trump, who also shares sons Joseph, 10, and Theodore, 8, with husband Jared Kushner, concluded, “Arabella, you inspire and amaze me every day. You are a remarkable young woman and my heart overflows with love for you. Happy Birthday !”
