Bikini-clad Bella Thorne slams Ozempic for setting ‘crazy beauty standards’
Bella Thorne called out Ozempic for setting “crazy beauty standards” in Hollywood as she admitted she has not been “feeling good” about her body.
The actress candidly opened up about her self-image while rocking a blue leopard-print bikini in an Instagram Story video posted Saturday.
“So I haven’t been feeling good about my body in a while, especially with everybody on Ozempic,” she said, per the Daily Mail.
Thorne, 26, claimed the type 2 diabetes drug has led to “all these crazy beauty standards that nobody can keep up with unless they’re on Ozempic.”
The Disney Channel alum then detailed her workout routine, saying, “I have swam every day and I have sweat out everything possible and I have walked everywhere and I’m finally feeling good about myself.”
She flipped off the camera and concluded, “Finally feeling good. So Ozempic, you can [f–k] off.”
Thorne has recently been seen posing in bikinis amid her beach vacation with fiancé Mark Emms.
On Saturday, the couple packed on the PDA while seemingly lounging on a boat.
The “Saint Clare” star and the entrepreneur got engaged in May 2023 after about nine months of dating, per People.
While Thorne has given Ozempic the middle finger, more and more celebrities are coming clean about using weight-loss drugs.
Last week, Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler’s 18-year-old daughter, Alabama Barker, admitted she’s been taking an unnamed weight-loss drug to shed pounds.
Others using similar medication include Kelly Clarkson, Tori Spelling, Rebel Wilson and Sharon Osbourne.
