    Va Tech WABAG signs agreement with Al Jomaih Energy to tap opportunities in the Middle East

    Va Tech WABAG Ltd (WABAG), a leader in water technology, has entered into an agreement with Al Jomaih Energy and Water (AEW), a leading energy and water project developer in the Middle East, to meet the growing demand to provide sustainable solutions to the region. Water Solutions.

    The MoU was signed at the India-Saudi Investment Forum held on the occasion of the G20 summit on September 11-12, a statement said.

    Under the partnership, WABAG and AEW will collaborate on various aspects including engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), project development and feasibility assessment of potential water projects.

    Pankaj Malhan, deputy managing director and group CEO of WABAG, said: “This MoU will help both organizations engage in development cooperation and explore the feasibility and investment opportunities for water project development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other parts of the Middle East.”

    The collaboration will leverage the combined expertise of both organizations to address the region’s pressing water challenges.

    AEW will provide critical support related to local market intelligence, business development and interaction with potential customers, off-takers, regulators, ministries, lenders and suppliers in the region. WABAG will contribute the technical and commercial expertise required for feasibility assessment and project development.
