Every few months, I collect some new questions (and some recurring ones) that I receive via comments, emails, and DMs on Atlantic Pacific. So today I will answer some questions that you have recently asked! You can also check out older Q&A posts here, here and here, as well as access many of my FAQ posts below. If I didn’t answer your question this time, please contact me and I will do my best to solve it!

Q: What are the best and worst parts of your job (as an influencer/creator)?
A: The best thing is waking up every day to do a job that I love and am passionate about. It’s hard to beat it! The worst part is how isolated and one-dimensional it feels. I love my corporate role because I value being part of a large team, understanding who I am as a manager and direct report, and feeling part of something bigger than myself.
Q: What is your favorite black designer pump?
A: To be honest, I don’t wear black clothes very much. However, I’ve owned multiple designer black pumps over the years and these are my favourites. If you want the same shoe at a slightly lower height, there is a 70mm option. These are the most comfortable heels I own, and love suede (when it comes to classic black heels, I prefer suede to lambskin), and I love that they are unbranded.
Q: What are your favorite brands to work with?
A: I won’t name specific brands, but the brands I like to work with the most are the ones that really like my content and my point of view, and they want to reflect that in our partnerships. When I’m considering a partnership with a brand, a lot of different factors come into play. First and foremost, the brand had to really fit my style, and the brand itself had to show an interest in genuinely collaborating, not calling the shots. I always try to find partners who are interested in creating content that fits their and my brand filters. A lot of times it also depends on the timing, scope of work, fee/budget, and whether the particular product they want to highlight is right for me. Often, brands that I might admire are looking for a partner, but for a specific product or product category, it doesn’t necessarily make sense for Atlantic Pacific. At the end of the day, my goal is to always bring you the best content, sponsored or not, through the lens of fashion and style.
Q: What do you miss most about New York City? What do you like best about living in Florida (not based on answers from friends, family, etc.)?
A: I really miss the energy and creativity of New York. There’s always new art to see, interesting people to meet on the street, and new food to try. I also miss the ability to walk as a form of transportation instead of driving. In the end, I would like to say that it is easier to do my work in New York City because there are so many brands, headquarters in the city, and a lot of events. Not to mention there are great photo spots around every corner of the city!
In Florida, I like the relaxed feel. The pace has slowed down, which I didn’t know I needed. I love having a home with more indoor and outdoor space. It’s fun to decorate and design creatively. In my day-to-day life, I feel like having more space is really great for my spirit. Finally, I love heat, so this weather is perfect for me. While I love fall and winter fashion, I can also skip the weather these seasons.
Q: Do you have any fall outerwear recommendations under $300?
Answer: Of course you can! There are so many good ones online right now – I’m linking five of my favorites right now! I love this classic navy bomber under $100, this shawl collar coat, this longer coat, this plaid cropped coat, and this classic belted coat. It’s still early in the season, and I’m sure more great options will continue to emerge!
Q: What three words would your significant other use to describe you?
A: Good question. I just asked him and he said “gracious, firm, extraordinary”. ?
Q: Will you launch another collection with Tuckernuck?
A: We are currently not making any progress. It has been a pleasure working with the Tuckernuck team. I’m so happy and grateful that so many people love what we create. Right now I’m taking a step back from collaborations (creating co-branded products). This year, I worked with LAKE in Q1 and then Tuckernuck in Q2, and while I like them a lot, they’re a lot of work and can be exhausting. So I decided not to take on any extras for the rest of the year. I want all my collaborations to feel unique, special, and never rushed!
