Midtown East (WABC) — The United Nations General Assembly convenes on Monday, which means heavy motorcades, road closures, security and traffic jams.
More than 150 heads of state plan to attend, including U.S. President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu has been the target of protests over judicial reform in Israel for months.
The NYPD said there were no specific or credible threats to the convention, but on Thursday they talked about all the precautions they were taking.
Street closures during the United Nations General Assembly are as follows:

Area bounded by 60th Street to the north, 34th Street to the south, First Avenue to the east, and Third Avenue to the west; all inclusive
