Robert Farley, 61, found dead amid rubble

Mooresville, North Carolina — Fire investigators have determined a natural gas explosion destroyed the North Carolina home of Tennessee Titans cornerback Caleb Farley, killing the NFL player’s father and injuring a family friend, officials announced Tuesday.
County officials said in a release that the source of the gas leak is not yet known and that the remaining structure is too unstable to continue the investigation into the cause and source. The Airedell County Fire Marshal’s Office has completed its investigation into last week’s blast, and any further investigation will be conducted by the homeowner’s insurance company.
