Lacey Town, Ocean County—— A small plane crashed in Ocean County, New Jersey, sparking a small brush fire.
The FAA and New Jersey State Police are at the scene investigating.
The incident happened on Mule and Lacey Roads in Lacey Township about 2am on Sunday.
The first report said the plane crashed in a wooded area near the Ocean County Airport.
Officials said the plane was flying from Pottstown, Pennsylvania, to Toms River, New Jersey.
According to reports, it is a Skyhawk SP single-engine private jet.
So far, there have been no reports of who was on board the plane or whether anyone was injured.
