Residents say house exploded in West Milford, NJ; crews on scene

WEST MILFORD, New Jersey (WABC) — Emergency crews rushed to the scene of what residents said was a house explosion in West Milford, New Jersey, on Friday night.

The incident happened just after 9pm at Alpine Court and Hanover Road.

Residents said their entire neighborhood was shaken by the blast.

Officials have not confirmed any of those details.

Images obtained by Eyewitness News show first responders at the scene.

West Milford Fire Station urged people to avoid the area of ​​Warwick Turnpike between Laurel Hill and Bank Road while emergency services worked on a “massive scene”.
