On February 3, 2022, Nokia announced that, according to the authorization of the Nokia Annual General Meeting on April 8, 2021, its board of directors will launch a stock repurchase plan to return up to 600 million euros in cash to shareholders in batches within two years. Pursuant to the Market Abuse Regulation (EU) 596/2014 (MAR), Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052 and authorized by the Nokia Annual General Meeting on 5 April 2022, the second phase of the share buyback program commenced at January 2, 2023, ending at the latest on December 21, 2023, with a maximum total purchase price of 300 million euros.
The total cost of the transaction executed on August 23, 2023 is EUR 1,411,005.75. After the transaction was disclosed, Nokia Corporation held 87,235,057 treasury shares.
