Bronx, New York (WABC) — In this episode of OT Eyewitness News, we report the latest on a deadly incident at a day care center in the Bronx.
A child died and three others were injured following an incident on Morris Avenue in Kingsbridge on Friday afternoon.

Hurricane Lee set to hit battered New England
As Hurricane Lee rages in the Atlantic Ocean, coastal communities in New Jersey and Long Island are warning of dangerous rip currents and high surf at their beaches. While the storm will stay away from the coast, Lee will cause dangerous conditions and beach erosion along parts of the East Coast as it moves north. Meteorologist Jeff Smith joins for the latest updates on Hurricane Lee.
Multiple cars hit by buses in Brooklyn and piled on top of each other
An investigation is underway after several cars were hit and piled on top of an MTA bus in Brooklyn. A row of parked vehicles at Mill Avenue and Avenue U was attacked around 9 a.m. Friday, with residents saying about six vehicles were damaged. Surveillance video obtained by Eyewitness News shows what appears to be an MTA bus hitting the cars.
Violence breaks out in the Bronx, leaving 6 people shot and 1 dead
Six people were shot during 24 hours of violence in the Bronx, half of whom were not the intended targets. One of the victims was a 71-year-old woman who was shot in the back while trying to cross the street.
