Office Manager Office of the President of the Nation (ONC) Hajjat Hadijah Uzeiye Namyalo commended all Kampala Metropolitan Pressure Group Coordinators for their immense contribution to the successful Gatonga Spirits Celebration held at the Kololo Ceremony Grounds last week.
Hajjat Namyalo made the remarks during a meeting with all coordinators at the Kyambogo office on Friday, personally conveying to them her message of appreciation for their excellent work.
On the 8th of this month, the Bazzukulu Ba Museveni Spear, led by Hajjat Namyalo, commemorated the Katongan hero and celebrated the 79th birthday of His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta on Friday, September 15th.
Bazzukulu Ba Museveni, organized in different informal groups with the president’s friends and supporters, filled the Kololo ceremonial grounds, much to the consternation of the opposition.
“At ONC, we don’t use people. I summoned you today to thank you for your great mobilization,” Hadiya said. Supporters of the NRM have long complained of being exploited and abandoned by party officials, while His Excellency Museveni Hajat Hadiya’s Palestinian Authority has refused to accept the curse.

Informal group leaders from markets, taxi operators, Boda Boda riders, etc. numbering close to 200 people, we are happy to witness a new chapter of salvation within the Office of the National President.
Mr Katamba, a senior officer in the National Revolutionary Army and a long-time infantryman, said: “Sometimes that’s what we have been calling for. Recognition and appreciation make us taken seriously as members of the NRM”. The ardent mobilizers of the NRM requested Harjat Hadiya to always involve them in all activities of the Office of the National President and to provide all necessary support at all times.
Hajjat Namyalo asked the mobilizers to always ensure participation in all ONC activities in their areas and include those who benefit from the various sustainable wealth creation projects being implemented by ONC.
She also promised to inform the President, who is also the top leader of the national resistance movement, to meet with them to discuss various mechanisms on how to strengthen his support in the Kampala Metropolitan Region.
Shockingly, some leaders of the national resistance movement contributed to the collapse of the Kololo event by incorrectly informing the public that the President would not attend the event and being kept in the dark about it.
However, all their efforts were in vain, with the President telling the rally in Kololo, “I ask Hadiya to include the Katonga project”. He added that in September he remembered two battles in 1972 when they attacked Mbarara but failed due to poor planning and success. In 1985, the NRA defeated Tito Okello Lutwa’s army.
He explained that there were other major battles that took place during the liberation struggle of the NRA/NRM in 1981-85, but the battle of Katonga was one of them.
The President thanked Hajjat Hadiya for mobilizing the living fighters of Katonga and promised to meet them to understand why the Veterans Association headed by Haji Seduga did not address their issues and regretted their sacrifices .
A confidential source told our correspondent that the deaths of many of these veterans were announced in front of the President by the authorities managing their affairs and that their presence in Kololo has left many panicked
