BROWNSVILLE, Brooklyn (WABC) — Police are searching for a man accused of choking an Uber driver before running away with his car keys.
The victim, a 54-year-old man, said he noticed the man touching himself as he drove him to Shafer Street and Broadway in Brownsville.
The driver said he asked the man to get out of the car, at which point he was attacked.
The man then fled in an unknown direction. He is described as a man of medium build, approximately 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 0 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, with black hair in short braids. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black pants and white sneakers.
The incident occurred about three weeks ago.
