Bronx Union Port (WABC) — Two men were injured in an overnight shooting in the Bronx.
The incident happened around 11 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Ellis and Pugsley Avenues in the Port Union area of the Bronx.
A 28-year-old man was shot in the chest and was taken to New York City Health+ Hospital/Jacobi where he is not expected to suffer serious injuries, authorities said.
A short time later, another 28-year-old man walked into the same hospital with a gunshot wound to his left leg. The injuries are said to have been caused by the same shooting.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
