The State Bank of India has launched digital facilities for NRIs to open NRE and NRO accounts (savings and current accounts) through SBI’s YONO. The service is designed for NTB or “new to banking” customers, providing them with an easy and efficient account opening process.
Customers can track the status of their applications in real-time, keeping them informed every step of the way.

With this digital service With the launch, NRIs can open NRE/NRO accounts from the comfort of their homes without physically traveling to India.
