SEOUL, South Korea – (BUSINESS WIRE) –#EarlyAcessGame– The game development company THEAND Corporation announced on August 31 that it will have early access to its latest game “Polaroid: Memento” on Steam.
The game follows small-town handyman Roid as he embarks on a trip down memory lane after retrieving a photo album full of memories. Players use tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and adhesives to fix objects in the album.
Players can solve puzzles to restore familiar objects from childhood, from toy trains to skateboards they played with friends to game consoles given to them by their grandfathers.
Polaroid also offers a variety of content, including a mini-game where you skateboard through obstacles like testing a restored object, and a short retro game to enjoy after restoring your console.
Jeong Min-gil, CEO of THEAND, said, “Growing up, we all disassembled, assembled, and repaired various objects. Polaroid is a game that captures the stories of our lives. After early access, We plan to release the official version in the first half of 2024, which includes a storyline and 20 items that are completed with users through the community.”
