Millie Bobby Brown is giving some insight into how she planned her wedding ahead of her wedding to Jake Bongiovi.
The 19-year-old actress and son of rocker Jon Bon Jovi announced their engagement in April after two years of dating.
Even though her future father-in-law is a legendary rock singer, the “Stranger Things” star says he won’t be on stage at her wedding to her son.
“I feel like it’s asking me to go and do a full show for everybody,” she said on Friday’s “Today” show. “I think this guy needs a break and he’s not going to stop.”
“He was always taking tennis or singing lessons. I thought he needed a break, maybe three hours,” she told co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager.

In 2016, Bon Jovi surprised the audience at a wedding he was attending by leaping out of his seat to perform “Livin’ on a Prayer.”
The “Enola Holmes” star said the rocker will attend the wedding as a guest rather than a performer.
“That’s crazy. I don’t know if he could do that,” she quipped.

When asked how the wedding planning was going, Brown said the process was not stressful at all.
“Jake was very, very involved and he was very helpful throughout the whole process,” she revealed. “I never felt alone, which was nice.”
“I always think, ‘Is this a good idea? Is this a good idea?’ But at the end of the day, it’s a very intimate day for both of us and we’re both really excited.”

“I love spending time with my fiancé and my family,” Brown continued. “It’s really boring, but chopping up vegetables and taking them to my pony is the best part of my day.”
In an interview with The Sunday Times in August, Brown spoke of the moment Bongiovi, 21, asked the all-important question.
The actress revealed that her fiancé proposed with a ring her mother Kelly gave him.

“I’ve always loved that ring, it’s always fascinated me, so she gave it to Jack,” she told the outlet. “They were complicit in this whole proposal. I’m just happy that I can carry a piece of my mom with me forever.”
Recalling the moment she first met Jack, Brown said she finally met the only one.
“I ran to my mom and said, ‘I really, really like him,'” she told the outlet. “We knew as soon as we met that we never wanted to leave each other’s side. You couldn’t say why, it was just a feeling that that’s the person you wanted to spend the rest of your life with.”
