Talk about a vacation this woman will never forget.
A Maryland woman who went viral on TikTok revealed she was taken to Miami by a man but initially had “no idea why.”
The 30-year-old woman, Chandler, said that while she was sleeping in their shared hotel room, the man packed his things and left for good, the Daily Mail reported.
In the video, which has been viewed more than 3 million times, Chandler begins by explaining how the man told her about his sister, whom he hadn’t seen in a while, and planned to have lunch with her.
“I was like, okay, okay, just don’t forget, we have a 1:30 p.m. lunch that’s hard to book. He said, ‘Yeah, I’ll be back before that,'” she claims.
The TikToker said she didn’t think much of it and went to the pool to kill time and “get some sun”.
“At 1:10 p.m., I said ‘Hey, where are you, don’t forget to get lunch.'” And then at 1:20 p.m., I said “Where are you, like are you coming to pick me up for lunch… ?” said Chandler.
In that moment, Chandler was upset, but gave the man the benefit of the doubt, just in case something actually happened.
Chandler said she delayed the reservation, but claims the man didn’t show up either, so she canceled everything and went back to her hotel room to take a nap.
“But it got worse,” Chandler said.
Chandler said she had some friends in the area and decided to go hang out with them, but when she was ready, she couldn’t find the man’s stuff.
“I looked around, I looked around the corner, and I realized his stuff wasn’t there,” Chandler shockingly revealed.
The video continued, but then Chandler, in one of many follow-up videos, revealed screenshots showing the man eventually texting her back.
Chandler asked if he was “okay,” though the man only said “I’ll be fine” about her concerns.
Still on a quest to figure out what’s going on, Chandler finally has the answer she’s been wanting.
In another follow-up episode, with the help of viewers, Chandler explained that the man had been living a secret life with a wife and family.
Chandler said “a woman” showed up out of the blue and texted her, revealing that the man was actually married and that she, too, was smitten with him.
The anonymous whistleblower also provided Chandler with records and documents posted online showing the names of the man and his alleged wife, who shares his last name, and a home they signed up for in 2020.
Users on TikTok couldn’t get enough and flooded Chandler’s comments section with all the videos related to the matter.
“You have a responsibility to that woman. What she chooses to do with the information is up to her. But you need to tell her,” one person commented.
“Girl forget about him! Run his hashtag and meet other people!” said one user who wanted revenge on the man in the first video posted by Chandler.
Some even speculated about what might have happened to Chandler before revealing the sordid truth.
“Yeah, he’s married and realizes he’s in too deep. Bud wakes up,” hinted one responder.
“Not his sister…his wife. Of course it wasn’t his first time and she managed to beat him,” said another.
“He met other people there, he was probably in another room with her. “Vacation is paid, just enjoy your free vacation girl,” replied one crazy speculator.
