Avondale, Pennsylvania— An “armed and dangerous” inmate who escaped from the Barry County Jail in Missouri earlier this summer was arrested Thursday in Avondale, Pennsylvania.
Action News confirms that Mario Che-Tiul was arrested by U.S. Marshals and taken to the Chester County Jail, where Danelo Cavalcante was arrested on August 31 Japanese jailbreak.
Che-Tiul, who was being held on felony child molestation charges, escaped from the Barry County Jail on the night of June 1.
According to Barry County Sheriff Danny Boyd, Chytil pretended to be sick and lured two correctional officers into his cell.
That’s when six other inmates ambushed the officers, choked them to death, and escaped through the front door with the keys.
Six inmates were arrested shortly after escaping, but Che-Tiul evaded police for months before being arrested Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
