Artificial Intelligence promotes inclusion
Across India’s dynamic and diverse landscape, the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) transcends business boundaries and triggers profound social changes. Beyond its original business roots, AI has now become a beacon of hope, illuminating the nation’s path toward a brighter, more inclusive future. From revolutionizing public health and healthcare to bridging the education gap, optimizing agriculture, enhancing public safety and protecting the environment, the impact of AI is felt across every aspect of Indian society and is reshaping the social fabric of the country. The road ahead is fraught with ethical dilemmas, data privacy concerns, and the specter of looming job losses. To truly realize the potential of AI, India must prioritize ethics, equity and inclusivity.

Value System
As the last meeting at the Old Parliament House came to an end before proceeding to the New Parliament House, it is appropriate to recall the period under the first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. Education was taken as seriously as the right to vote. The establishment of technological and research institutions helps to promote industrial and agricultural progress.
Furthermore, his tenure sowed the seeds of healthy political discourse and dissent. Later aberrations will only emphasize the need to uphold these seminal value systems. Our enviable democracy must rest on such deep foundations. Our legislators should foster these values.

In memory of the teacher
This means “to address the gentleman with love, respect and awe” (September 18). Life is inspiration, they say. Teachers are a blessed bunch as they have a great opportunity to mold young minds and inspire the entire student body. Dedicated, conscientious and passionate teachers leave an everlasting impression on students. Nothing in life is more exciting for a teacher than reminiscing about their (predecessor’s) great work once their students have settled down.

Xiaomi Procurement
As far as the editorial “Xiaomi for All” (September 18) is concerned, consumers’ awareness of Xiaomi has basically become popular due to the government’s efforts and various value-added products. But farmers face several problems. . So far, the rice procurement center has brought relief to farmers. If these centers also procure millets, more farmers will switch to growing these crops. Unless this issue is resolved, bringing more area under Xiaomi will be a challenge.

Increase banks’ profit margins
On “Interest rate war weighs on corporate bank profitability” (September 18). With net interest margins of only 1.5-1.75%, corporate loans are not profitable for banks. Banks are now focusing on retail lending, which forms the bulk of their viable income.
In addition, banks should also focus on providing non-financial bank guarantees, letters of credit, bill discounting and other services to qualified borrowers with good credit records. As retail and other service businesses boom, the banking industry must evolve marketing strategies to meet their needs and provide financial support when necessary.
