Salt Lake City, September 6, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — USANA Health Sciences, Inc., a global leader in nutrition, and its USANA Foundation are proud to participate in Hunger Action Month. Launched by Feeding America in 2008, the campaign aims to raise awareness and inspire action on hunger in the United States.
This September, the USANA Foundation focuses on the region’s hunger crisis with projects aimed at providing families with sustainable solutions to combat malnutrition. A portion of this month’s American Foundation donations will go to Feeding America to support their programs across the country.
“As Action Hunger Month unfolds, it’s time for all of us to examine ourselves,” said brian paul, Chairman of the USANA Foundation. “Fighting hunger is not someone else’s war, it’s ours. Through the USANA Foundation’s joint efforts to fight malnutrition with Feeding America, we envision a world where families’ plates are never empty and hearts are full.”

“Food insecurity also needs to be addressed locally,” Paul continued. “We invite everyone to support our Utah– Served 6,700 food-insecure children along the Wasatch Front with meal kits packed and delivered to their schools to sustain them through the weekend, based on the USANA Children’s Meal Program. “
This Hunger Action Month, USANA is highlighting three ways to help: sign up to sponsor the Garden Towers community—each of 20 towers grows food for up to 10 families; contribute to communities most in need around the world; or become a one-time or monthly donor to support life-changing, nutrition-focused programs. Every act of kindness has a valuable impact.
“Hunger Action Month is an amazing initiative for us at USANA,” said jim brown, President and CEO of USANA. “We work every day to end world hunger through the USANA Foundation. I believe we are truly making a difference. Together we can develop sustainable long-term solutions to end world hunger.”
