The first week of the 2023-2024 NFL season was filled with tragedy. Aaron Rodgers played just a few games against the Jets before going down with a season-ending injury, which overturned the team’s win, along with all others.

However, the NFL, like time, moves on. Zach Wilson will take over for Rodgers this week as the Jets travel to Dallas to take on the red-hot Cowboys. Other teams will start to settle into their usual patterns.

Here’s how to watch this week’s game and what to expect from this week’s game.

Which NFL teams are playing this week? Which channels are showing the match?

The regular season kicks off as always with some big games. This is information about who played where and when. (The home team is ranked second.)

How can I watch NFL games for free even if I’m out of the market?

The best way to watch any kind of network show on a big screen for free is with a good HD antenna. And, with the exception of one game on Monday night, all of this weekend’s games will be televised by the broadcast networks, meaning you can watch them even if you don’t have a cable subscription. To make sure you’re getting the most reliable signal, be sure to test your antenna in multiple locations around your home.

If I don’t have a cable TV subscription, can I stream NFL games online?

You can, and you have options.

    Peacock

NBC’s streaming service will let you watch multiple games, including tonight’s game and all of the upcoming Sunday night games. You can get a 7-day free trial, then pay $6 or $12 per month. (Peacock’s free version does not include live sports.)

    Disney+

Disney’s Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ bundle no longer offers a free trial, so you’ll have to pay $13 per month for the trio (or $19.99 per month without ads on Hulu). Keep in mind that starting October 1, the price will increase to $15 and $25.

Adding live TV to the bundle raises the price to $70 per month ($76 without ads). In October, the price jumped to $77 for the ad-supported plan and $90 for the ad-free plan.

    Hulu vs. Live TV

Free trials of the service are also no longer available. It costs $70 per month until October 1, when the price will rise to $77.

    YouTube TV

After a two-week trial, the monthly cost is expected to be $73. YouTube is also now home to Sunday Ticket. Current season prices for the service range from $300 to $439 (based on current discounts).

    sling tv

Dish Network’s Sling lower-tier “Orange” plan costs $40 per month. Add the more comprehensive “Blue” plan and the cost increases to $55 per month. The seven-day free trial has been eliminated, but the cord-cutting service offers 50% off the first month’s bill.

    live tv streaming

The oft-rebranded streaming service, formerly known as DirecTV Now, AT&T TVNow and AT&T TV, costs $75 per month after a free trial.

    Fubo TV station

This sports-focused cable service has broadcast networks in most markets. There’s a 7-day free trial, then it costs $75 or more per month, depending on the channel you choose.

Can I watch NFL games on Amazon?

Yes, but only on Thursday nights (and Black Friday this year). The next game on Amazon will be the New York Giants vs. San Francisco 49ers on September 21st.

Does the NFL offer any viewing packages to watch the games I want?

    Some!

    National Football League App

this National Football League App Allows you to live stream Sunday games that are live locally in your market. If you want to watch an “off-site” game, you have two options.

    National Football League+

Watch local and out-of-market games live and (with a premium subscription) replays. There is a 7-day free trial, then it costs $6.99 per month (includes NFL Network). (Premium is $14.99 per month and includes NFL Network and RedZone.)

    NFL Sunday Ticket

As mentioned above, YouTube has taken over broadcasting duties for the channel, replacing DirecTV. Prices for the service (and the optional NFL Red Zone) for the current season range from $300 to $439, based on current discounts.
