HONG KONG & LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–This October, the Hong Kong Tourism Board invites food and wine lovers from around the world to celebrate the return of Hong Kong’s largest outdoor food event, Hong Kong Wine and Food Festival. The four-day festival kicks off a month-long series of exciting nightlife events across the city throughout November.
Return: Hong Kong Wine and Food Festival returns
Taking place from 26 to 29 October at the Central Waterfront Event Space in Victoria Harbor, the 2023 Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival is a four-day culinary extravaganza set against the backdrop of the iconic city skyline. After five years, the physical event is back again and is ready to welcome visitors to nearly 300 booths showcasing global food and wine.
Wine is a natural focus of the festival, with the popular Main Country Pavilion showcasing winemakers from 36 countries around the world. This year, the focus will be on classic wines from France and Italy, as well as emerging wine regions from Thailand, Moldova and Finland. First, during the festival there will be a dedicated presentation of “Chinese Wine Discovery”, featuring wine merchants such as Sig Manor and Mihope Winery from Ningxia (Northwest China), Yunnan Red Wine & Spirits and Shandong Mystic Island Winery .
Visitors can indulge in a variety of global flavors, from tangy street snacks to nostalgic local delicacies to exquisite hotel dining.
New to the festival is the Tasting Theatre, a series of hands-on workshops that allow visitors to roll up their sleeves and put on their aprons. Cooking demonstrations and workshops will be hosted by celebrity chef He Jiansheng from Shunde, Guangdong, and award-winning Taiwanese baker Wu Baojun, who is participating in the Hong Kong Wine and Food Tour for the first time.
