The much-anticipated trailer for Rockstar Games’ GTA VI has been leaked ahead of its official release, complete with a large “Buy BTC” caption.

According to a post on the leak-based Reddit subreddit r/GamingLeaksAndRumours, an X user named “gta6trailerleak” posted a GTA 6 trailer ahead of its official release.
GTA VI is the next game in the popular “Grand Theft Auto” series, which is often promoted as the most anticipated game of all time in the gaming industry.
Earlier this month, the series’ developer Rockstar Games dropped the postal on X has announced the official date and time for the release of the game’s first trailer.
The trailer was originally supposed to be released later today, but as mentioned before, someone leaked it about 15 hours early. In response to the leaks, Rockstar decided to drop the GTA VI trailer early.

The leaker’s account has also been suspended, and the original leaked teaser post has disappeared. However, a user on another Reddit subreddit, r/LeaksAndRumours, had saved an upload of the now-deleted trailer.
The leaked trailer is identical to the one Rockstar eventually released, except it has poorer image quality and has a giant “Buy BTC” title in the middle.

It’s been a major topic of discussion in the community since the game’s official launch, so influential that the aforementioned trailer date announcement became the most popular post in the platform’s history. Previously known as Tweet special.
To date, the official trailer has been viewed nearly 50 million times on YouTube, further illustrating the phenomenon this game has been. GTA V, the game’s predecessor, is currently the second best-selling video game of all time, according to Wikipedia, and GTA VI is likely to follow in its footsteps.
Considering how massive the GTA VI trailer is, the leaker (possibly a Bitcoin supporter) decided to use it to draw more attention to the cryptocurrency and possibly hope that with this attention, the price will get some extra boosts The asset will also appear.
Not much has changed for Bitcoin since the trailer was released
Bitcoin doesn’t appear to have gained any significant benefit from the leak, as the asset has seen fairly lackluster moves over the past day. The chart below shows how the asset has performed over the past few days.
