The family of Mohamed Al Fayed, the former owner of London’s famed Harrods department store, lost his son in a car accident with Princess Diana, according to the family. He is 94 years old.

Al Fayed, a self-made Egyptian businessman and former owner of Fulham Football Club, was devastated after his son Dodi Fayed was killed in a car accident with Princess Diana in Paris 26 years ago. He spent the rest of his life mourning the loss of loved ones and fighting the British establishment he blamed for their deaths.

“Mrs. Mohammad Al Fayed, her children and grandchildren wish to confirm that her beloved husband, their father and grandfather Mohammed passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 30, 2023,” his family said in a statement . Fulham club. “He enjoyed a long and fulfilling retirement surrounded by loved ones.”

Al Fayed is convinced Dodi and Diana were killed in a plot orchestrated by Queen Elizabeth II’s husband, Prince Philip. He insisted the royal family arranged the accident because they didn’t like Princess Diana dating Egyptians.

Al Fayed claimed that Princess Diana was pregnant and planned to marry Dodi, and the royal family could not tolerate Princess Diana marrying a Muslim.

In 2008, Al Fayed said in an investigation that the list of alleged co-conspirators included Prince Philip, then-Prince Charles, former prime minister Tony Blair, Princess Diana’s sister Sarah McCordale, Two former London police chiefs and the CIA.

The investigation concluded that the deaths of Diana and Dodi were caused by the reckless actions of the driver and paparazzi chasing the couple.
