Former Disney star Ashley Tisdale is being sued over a car accident she suffered last year.
A woman, Lina Gonzales, has accused the 38-year-old actress of “serious injuries” to her neck and back in a September car accident on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles.
Ms Gonzales also claims she paid $140,000 in medical bills out of pocket and is seeking compensation from Ms Tisdale.
According to court documents TMZLawyers for Ms Gonzalez said his client was waiting to turn left on the famous avenue when Ms Tisdale allegedly changed lanes and crashed into her car.
Additionally, Attorney Michael R. Parker told TMZ Ms Tisdale said [his client] name” and “what a fuss about the situation”.
A representative for Ms Tisdale said, “Ashley has not shown any aggression or words following the incident.”
Ms. Tisdale shot to fame in 2005 when she starred in the hit Disney Channel series Zack and Cody’s Top Lifebefore playing sharpie evans in the blockbuster high school musical 2006 film series.
She has also dabbled in music over the years, releasing three studio albums from 2007, most recently symptom, Coming in 2019.
Today, Ms Tisdale is the business owner of her wellness company, Frenshe, a Goop-inspired website that also makes its own brand of skin and body care products.
She married musician husband Christopher French in 2014 and welcomed daughter Jupiter in 2021.
Ms Tisdale remains a close friend high school musical Co-star, Vanessa Hudgens.
