Firefighters battle flames at Willits Point DOT warehouse in Queens

Willis Point, Queens (WABC) — Crews fight a fire at the New York City Department of Transportation building in Queens on Monday.

The No. 3 fire started at the New York Department of Transportation’s Harper Street facility, a warehouse and maintenance space at 32-11 Harper Street in Willits Corner, FDNY officials said.

About 40 units and 150 fire and EMS personnel are on scene.

Firefighters were battling the flames on the roof.

So far, there have been no reports of injuries.
