Randall’s Island, Manhattan (WABC) — “Due to unforeseen circumstances”, the Electric Zoo festival was at maximum capacity on Sunday night and said they would not let anyone else in for safety reasons.
All shuttles and roads to the Randall’s Island grounds are closed.
Electric Zoo said on Twitter that anyone who was denied entry on Sunday will receive a full refund.
Ferries around Randall Island will continue to operate.
Police said no arrests were made Sunday night.
Ticketholders were stunned on Friday when the festival was forced to cancel Opening Day just hours before it started.
Made Event, the company that organizes the festival, said in a statement about the cancellation that global supply chain issues were to blame.
Organizers say anyone with a single-day ticket will get a refund and multi-day ticket holders will get points.
Additionally, they said all ferry and bus ticket holders will also receive a full refund.
