Cyclist in critical condition after Toyota Highlander collides with motorcycle in East Flatbush, Brooklyn

East Flatbush, Brooklyn (WABC) — A man is in critical condition after a motorcycle and an SUV collided in Brooklyn on Thursday.

Just after 6 p.m., the motorcycle and the Toyota Highlander collided at 575 Utica Avenue in East Flatbush.

The 39-year-old motorcycle driver was ejected from the vehicle.

He was taken to Kings County Hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the Highlander, a 52-year-old woman, initially fled the scene on foot but has since returned.

So far, no charges have been laid.

Investigation is ongoing.
