Manhattan Times Square (WABC) — The “Curtain Up” Broadway Music Festival is back!
From September 8-10, the third annual “Curtain Up” will bring Broadway to the streets of downtown New York. All events are free and open to the public in Times Square.
On Thursday, Playbill, the Broadway Alliance and the Times Square Alliance announced the full lineup of Broadway shows in Curtain Up! The Broadway finale concert will be broadcast live.
Participating programs include With Juliet, The Book of Mormon, Aladdin, Hudderstown, Kimberly Akimbo, Some Like It Hot, and more.
The three-day outdoor experience is presented by title sponsor Prudential Festival, with support from the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, Music Performance Trust, Film Fund, Open Jar Studios and Hotel Edison.
The Broadway Finale will be broadcast live on WABC-TV September 10, rain or shine, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with Eric McCormack at Duffy Plaza. Square) hosts.
