New York (WABC)—— Service changes on the F and M lines will begin Monday.
F service on the E will be diverted in both directions between Rockefeller Center and Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue.
M service between Rockefeller Center and Forest Hills-71st Avenue will be suspended between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
The service change will allow for a track change – work that will continue until the first quarter of next year.
The MTA said the work will improve the reliability of the infrastructure and extend its useful life.
