On February 3, 2022, Nokia announced that, as authorized by the Nokia Annual Shareholders Meeting on April 8, 2021, its board of directors will initiate a stock repurchase plan to return up to 600 million euros in cash to shareholders in batches within two years. Pursuant to the Market Abuse Regulation (EU) 596/2014 (MAR), Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052 and subject to the authorization granted by Nokia’s Annual General Meeting on April 5, 2022, the second phase of the share buyback program begins on January 2, 2023, ending on December 21, 2023 at the latest, with a maximum total purchase price of €300 million.
The total cost of the transactions executed on September 12, 2023 was €1,405,566.80. After the transaction was disclosed, Nokia held 85,858,867 treasury shares.
