WHITESTONE, Queens (WABC) — A tree fell on an overhead power line in Queens Monday morning, snapping one wire.
Dozens of residents in White Rock were without power near where a tree fell at 14th Avenue and 160th Street.
The remnants of Tropical Storm Ophelia caused days of non-stop wind and rain.

The remnants of the storm are moving away from the Northeast, but persistent gusty showers will continue into Tuesday.
Coastal flood warnings are in effect through Monday night for South Jersey, New York City and Long Island.
