Corona, Queens (WABC) — At least seven people were injured Friday night, including multiple police officers and firefighters, after fires broke out at two houses in Queens.
A fire broke out between two multi-family homes at 104-18 and 104-14 on Corona 37th Drive around 8:45 p.m.
Citizens app video showed flames spewing from the house.
Officials said the fire spread to the first and second floors.
At least seven people were injured, including three civilians, two police officers and two firefighters who were helping residents evacuate their homes.
Fortunately, officials said all of the injured had minor injuries and were taken to hospital in stable condition.
In total, at least 20 people were forced from their homes.
The fire is now under control.
Firefighters are at the scene investigating the cause of the fire.
